Sakura è la principessa del Regno di Clow, prima amica, poi innamorata di Shaoran.
Viene privata dei suoi ricordi e delle sue abilità magiche da una potente forza che prende la forma delle piume e vengono diffuse per tutti i mondi. Per salvare la sua vita e ottenere tutte le piume Sakura e Shaoran vengono mandati da Yuuko che gli permette di tulizzare mokona in cambio dei ricordi di Sakura su Shaoran, che impediscono al ragazzo di essere presente nelle sue memorie.
La personalità di Sakura è generalmente di carattere passivo, soprattutto a causa della perdita della memoria, che la porta spesso ad essere stanca, sia fisicamente che mentalmente. Ad ogni modo, attraverso la serie, Sakura riesce a diventare più forte e indipendente. Come sottolinea Shaoran, Sakura cerca sempre di aiutare il gruppo, facendo sempre il possibile nelle sue condizioni.

Sakura(サクラ) is the princess of the Kingdom of Clow, who befriends and falls in love with Syaoran during her childhood. She is stripped of her memories and magical abilities by a powerful force, which take the form of feathers, and they are spread all throughout different dimensions. In order to save her life and retrieve the feathers, she and Syaoran are sent to Yūko, who gives them the use of Mokona in exchange for Sakura's memory of Syaoran, which causes him to be absent from any memories restored to her. She is initially weak, confused, and constantly tired, but she grows stronger as she regains her feathers. She is very friendly with Fay and Mokona, she grows close to Syaoran again, and she notices that she is missing something from her memories. Sakura possesses unnaturally good luck; Yūko calls her "God's favorite daughter." Sakura also has the ability to "hear" the voices of those who cannot be heard, such as spirits of nature, and to see ghosts.
